I Want You Back - The Jackson 5
Although we identify this #1 hit as a quintessential 70s song, it was actually released in 1969. This is pure Jackson 5 sound though, letting you know they were a force to be reckoned with, and much better than the Osmonds would ever be. Micheal was at the top of his game here, cranking out some vocals that are impressive for his young age, along with some dance moves that only hint at what he would be doing later in his career.

According to some white folk, yes. I recall hearing that some crazed chick threw herself in front of the Osmonds tour bus. I may do that for Bob Seger, or Jimmy Buffett, but not some pop group.
