D-Day memories
In lieu of a song today, I'm posting some excellent color footage of the D-Day invasion. Thank a WWII veteran, please, for all their sacrifices.

More than 2,700 ships and craft hit the beaches that day in the largest amphibious assault in the planet's history. What they accomplished cannot be understated - they literally saved the world. For my money - the greatest generation the world has ever known.
Thanks for the video Mrs. C!

You're welcome. There isn't a song that covers the subject, and I felt a history lesson was in order.
