Fast and Furious 6
I know some people didn't enjoy the franchise but i sure did
1 was really good
2 & 3 weren't great but they were decent racing movies
4,5,6 were decent action flicks, 5 and 6 were the best (along with #1). After Tokyo Drift (#3) they sort of lost their way and they reinvented the franchise with 4,5 and 6. They sort of made 4,5,6 as a prequel to Tokyo drift which was odd but cool at the same time (to do it right in the middle of all the movies).
I just saw #6 tonight and i think that's the end of the franchise, they sort of wrapped everything up and paved the way for Tokyo drift which was suppose to take place after 4,5,6.
#6 was decent, plenty of action and stars just like #5 and it's worth at least a rental.
The one thing the last two movies did was shift away from the whole racing theme and it incorporated more action involved with racing.
I grew up with this franchise so i enjoyed them, i love seeing the cars. Whether it was American Muscle or Import, they had some great cars in these films.
I think #6 is the last one without giving anything away and if it is it sucks to see it end.
Decent franchise though, they really improved the last 3 movies. I mostly enjoyed the franchise for the cars but the action was alright too. If i had to say, #1,#5, and #6 were the best in that order.
I'll definitely be picking up #6 to finish my collection, i think this was the last one.
From that Green Eclipse and orange Supra #1 to this movie, there was some really nice cars, some nice racing and some good action.
I would love to see another FnF movie but after seeing #6 i think its over with.
Hard to believe that Vin Diesel is in his late 40's, where does the time go.

I saw the first one and thought it was decent. Then I saw the second one and refused to see another. It was awful. I am hearing a lot of the point He15man makes re: the last 3 movies though. May have to check them out if I get some time.

Only saw #2 in full. Saw parts of #1. Never saw any of 3-5.
What was the third one called... Tokyo Drift? It looked pretty bad from the previews.

The last three were more action based with a lot of chase scenes and stuff.
The last two were probably the best outside of #1

Same here. Maybe I'll give #6 a shot.
Favorite Vin Diesel movie: Pitch Black ....that one was way under-rated. Much better than the sequel: Chronicles of Riddick. I hope they make another sequel, I'd watch it.

He15man - should the last 3 be watched in order or does it matter?

In order would be best, though it doesnt really matter...but one character dies in 4, that isnt in 5, and comes back in 6

Yeah you'll have some trouble understanding the characters so you should watch them in order, but it's not a big deal.
Tokyo Drift actually takes place after #6 happens and #6 sort of leads into that and one of the characters.
The last 3 sort of got away from the ricer car looks with all the decals and spoilers and body kits and crap and more into classic American muscle plus modern clean looking cars.
The First 3 were mostly about street racing with a little bit of action, the last 3 had much more involvement with taking down drug leaders and dirty cops and bad guys combined with fight a lot more fight scenes and chase scenes.

Re: Fast and Furious 6
#2 was the worst one, but it had Eva Mendes in it.
I would rank them
1. Fast And The Furious (#1)
2. Fast and Furious 6 (#6)
3. Fast Five (#5)
4. Fast and Furious (#4)
5. Tokyo Drift (#3)
6. 2 Fast 2 Furious (#2)
I would rank them
1. Fast And The Furious (#1)
2. Fast and Furious 6 (#6)
3. Fast Five (#5)
4. Fast and Furious (#4)
5. Tokyo Drift (#3)
6. 2 Fast 2 Furious (#2)
