Monday's song
Home Sweet Home - Mötley Crüe
I've always loved this song, particularly the harmonies in the chorus. Charting at #35 in 1985, it immediately became the quintessential rock ballad. We returned home from Florida yesterday, and the traffic was just horrendous! It took us two hours to drive 46 miles, damn it. We were so grateful to be home, and in our bed, with fresh linens last night, I couldn't help but think of this song!
Enjoy!

Re: Monday's song
I LOVE this song! In the Navy, when we conduct Underway Replenishment (UNREP), where we steam alongside a replenishment ship and receive fuel, stores, ammo, etc, the receiving ship will play a "breakaway song" as we cast off the rig and move away from the oiler. Some ships rotate the song and some ships continuously use the same song (e.g. USS Saratoga always used Hall and Oates' Sara Smile)
While stationed aboard the USS Portland, I played this song as we completed our last UNREP before heading home from a 6 month deployment. It was awesome - entire crew was amped!
