Friday's Song of the Day

Mrs C is on the road today and asked me to post this song on her behalf.

This was Pink's first solo #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It is a sort of biographical song about her relationship with her husband, motocross racer Carey Hart. They separated after rumored infidelity, but eventually reconciled and had a daughter.

Pink told the story of this song: "So What was a joke. I heard this beat from Max Martin. It's such a fun beat, so fun. And I was actually kidding when I said "I guess I just lost my husband, I don't know where he went." Ha ha, that's really funny. Let's keep it and it just kind of went from there. And it just got more and more wrong. The more lines we wrote, the wronger it was. And we kept it because I don't really care. I don't think about the consequences when I write songs and now I am regretting every second of it. No, I'm not."

Personally, I'm a fan of Pink. I love her attitude, strength, and style. And I love how she came to be known as Pink. Her and some friends assigned each other names based on 'The Reservoir Dogs' and she was called Pink after Steve Buscemi's great character, Mr Pink.

I like this song, I also like Pink because of how she is, what her message is, etc. Plus, she's beautiful!
