I think this could be a really good season.
People talk about the Georgia losses, but the second one was entirely self-inflicted. When you turn the ball over 6 times and *still* are in the game (against Murray, Gurley, Jarvis, no less) you know we could have won.

That loss stings more than the Louisville one. For obvious reasons of course...it being Georgian and denying us a trip to Atlanata. But just the way we lost it is painful to watch.

I'm really torn on which loss stings more. Both were self-inflicted but in different ways.Bayougator wrote:That loss stings more than the Louisville one. For obvious reasons of course...it being Georgian and denying us a trip to Atlanata. But just the way we lost it is painful to watch.
The Georgia loss was primarily due to turnovers - gave the ball away 6 times. But after hearing about how some players "threw in the towel" during the Louisville game - that really irks me. To know that some guys were playing their butts off while others were already checked out, that doesn't sit well with me. At least during the Georgia game I felt like everyone on the team actually wanted to win.
But overall I'd have to go with Georgia, because in the end it cost us a shot at the SEC title.

What was the word on that? Some players admitted to "checking out" of the Louisville game?
