2014 Men's bball preseason schedule released

The 2013-14 non-league schedule won’t rack up the air miles of last season’s travel agency special, but the Florida basketball team definitely will be tested before opening Southeastern Conference play.

Really impressed with the way Billy has worked the schedule since being left out of the tournament the two years following the back to back run. These consecutive Elite Eight appearances prove that solid non-conference scheduling is the way to go especially when we can't count on the conference slate to help us.

I'm surprised the SEC has been this down, especially with the addition of Missouri last season. They really dropped off after a year. Tennessee looks to be getting worse, Georgia is getting better, but not by much. Alabama is on the right track with Jones. Kentucky stunk last year, with a lot of talent. Will this year's crops of one and dones find cohesiveness and chemistry? Or will the Cat's be stuck in mediocrity again?

Well for me, if the conference has to be down, I'm ok with it as long as it includes Kentucky!

Missouri lost a lot of guys off their team that was a 2 seed the year before, i think Pressey was the only starter with Oriakhi coming back after being injured or something like that.

Georgia lost some good players, Kentucky was the disappointment.
